CNN’s Pete Muntean reported on the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) plans to overhaul the nation’s air traffic control system, replacing decades-old paper flight strips with digital technology. He highlighted that this modernization project is happening at 17 airports so far. “It’s just old. We’ve been doing it for so many years, and there’s a better way of doing it,” said FAA Director of Air Traffic Systems Amee Patel.
