WASHINGTON, July 4, 2025 — The Modern Skies Coalition—comprised of more than 50 aviation and aerospace organizations—applauds President Trump for signing into law provisions that call for investing $12.5 billion into air traffic control modernization. This is an important down payment toward updating technology, upgrading facilities and ensuring the National Airspace System (NAS) is properly staffed to meet the increasing demands of today as well as years to come.
The Modern Skies Coalition looks forward to working with Secretary Duffy and industry partners to build on this progress and ensure that the United States remains the gold standard of aviation safety while increasing efficiency and fostering innovation.
