Modern Skies Coalition Statement on House Full Committee Markup of FY26 THUD Appropriations Bill
WASHINGTON, July 17, 2025 — The Modern Skies Coalition appreciates Congress for recognizing its obligation to continue funding air traffic control (ATC) modernization efforts. The $12.5 billion previously secured was a necessary downpayment—but only the beginning. Today’s markup affirms the need for sustained investment in staffing, systems and technology to overhaul our ATC system. Continued congressional action
